We thoroughly enjoyed this modern place and its excellent location. The most important was the staff - exceptional and outstandingly accommodating people. Our room was new-fashioned, neat and equipped with great shower and tea /coffee and a bath. The rate was US$ 144.
Facilities were excellent, however Wi-Fi was low.

I loved how close the hotel is to Alexandra Park, just over a kilometer away, making it easy for leisurely walks, and the central location also means the historic Eastgate Clock is not far, perfect for capturing some iconic city photos .

The hotel has a conremporary ambiance and good natured staff and decent service disrupted by constant totally unnecessary background music at all hours. The location and facilities are good, however.
Constant background music, with screaming vocals. I found it particularly intrusive and offensive in the Marco Pierre White restaurant.

The restaurant vibe was spot on, with some good sashimi that added a fancy flair to our meals. The service staff were lovely and made breakfast a treat, despite some hiccups. The grounds were also fine.

I thought the hotel facilities were really good the gym was excellent and the quality and standard of the hotel was also really good. I was however disappointed that I was not offered dressing gowns in the room and despite having booked an full hour treatment I was told that I had to hire a gown as they were not included (I was expected to either bring my own or undress and then re-dress, which was not really acceptable as I was covered in oil! The spa was also far too busy with hen parties on spa days and I think the hotel should consider limiting the numbers of people they accept as I was unable to use the facilities on the Saturday because it was far too busy and the pool overcrowded.
